The Grassrooted Trust has also partnered with Margie’s Kitchen to bring you forgotten recipes from Sri Lanka’s Portuguese & Burgher heritage. The Lamprais is a great example. No boiled eggs, chicken legs and rice to feed a family of ten. The authentic Lamprais is an intricate treasure casket of all that is good about Sri Lankan food.

Margie’s Kitchen is also the only place you will find the delectable and intoxicating Chocolate Arrack Cake. Need we say more.
