Kids performed in front of their guardians; this is when Maya showed me tears in Hans’ eyes. Hans told me that there were so many new faces, showing the success of the Prevention and Care and Support Programs. Their HIV Prevention Programs direct people to testing and if they tested positive they will be directed to Care …

I am puzzled!

Yesterday I was in Koggala doing an awareness programme for young people in Export processing zone. It was basically on Sexual and reproductive health. Firstly I put down few topics which I was expecting to discuss with them, and participants numbered them according to their need. Sixth topic was virginity.
As usual I showed them the common shapes of the Hyman and they were looking at it in extrinsic way. Their eyes were telling …

It’s not the digital technology. It’s how we use it.

Two days ago Hans texted me saying “facebook fast spread sexually transmitted diseases” read it on lankapuwath.lk – This can be your next article. I read the news and passed it to my dad and to my super hero sis to get their opinion.
My dad said its an unethical news since it doesn’t have a source and it is irrelevant to Sri Lanka. Also he said this can be the first step to ban …

After the HIV and STIs session, I started the session about condoms. While we did the game “condom relay” which all the girls found to be fun. I explained the importance of using a condom whenever you have oral, vaginal …

Let’s put it in to the practice!!

It was an afternoon. A half a empty bus reached Tummulla, and more people got on and the bus became little more crowed. Although there was plenty of room for people to stand without touching, the man in front of me somehow contrived to rub his lags against mine. I shifted trying to avoid with the man. He moved to touch me again and again i twisted in to an even more uncomfortable position to …

I can’t help looking gay – This is his favorite quote.

There was a letter on my table, written to my name. I opened it curiously , and then I realized that the letter was sent by the girl I met few weeks back, who used to live next door. When she was living in next house she has a girlfriend. But last month she was with guy, and this letter is to explain why she is with a guy now.
A girl should not be with …

Women deserve better !!!

Yesterday, I couldn’t pick my sis up from her class. So she had to come by bus (something she really hates, I’ll tell you why later). I was waiting for her and then aroung 2.30, she comes home. Strangely, she isn’t complaining about the bus-trip as usual, instead, she’s just screaming her guts out, furious, smoke coming out of her ears! And she uses the nastiest slangs which I never knew were included in …
